a really random entry before i go

With lots of enthusiasm, HELLO!
Awfully excited for Hong Kong yet can't wait to get all these packing done. My new cabinet's coming this Saturday while I'm away so I gotta do as much as a I can to clear out the old.

Anyway, I've decided to keep my LX5 (though rather willing to part with it for a lower price that quoted) but with the new Macbook that I'm getting, I have to delay plans on getting a new and better four-thirds camera. I want my new laptop for the new iMovie.

Set for a really random entry?
( look through my pictures and sorta think that it's gonna all be in random order :( )

Met Melanie for Boon Tong Kee chicken rice @ River Valley on Sunday
The first time and only time I had was with Jess when she came Singapore for holidays, and she exclaimed: "you never came here before? Singaporean you?"
Kinda funny when I recalled that statement 'cos I've been around Spize and all, but not BTK.

Found this fortune God looking cute :p

Mellie is my University groupmate for Marketing projects, and we're the slack sort.
Skip lectures, do projects at the last minute, copy each other's exam tips and still being able to score. This is called #teamwork.

Fried Tofu Cubes :)

BTK pyramid chicken rice.
Their chili is awesome!

yam ring with fried prawns

We ordered a vegetables dish with 3 egg (chicken egg, preserved egg and salted egg) but I didn't have a picture of that.
Love 上汤 veggie dishes (veg in broth).

Half a chix for 3 of us.
BTK has really tender steamed chicken, it's worth a go!

Ending it with a picture of the three before we parted our ways.

Dinner was a simple affair that day. Bro and I bought our parents a new steamboat for CNY this year! I wanted the Taiyo set but since CNY's around the corner, all the stocks for Taiyo have been depleted, oh wells..
Got mom to test this set since there's an exchange period.

Induction cookers are much smarter but harder to maintain :\

Met Joyce and Thom 2 days ago for Punggol Nasi Lemak before a visit to my good-ol' Dr. Chan.

I always come here for supper so I was shocked at dinner time, at they have such massive queues!!!
Gosh, good stuff are determined by the length of queues here.

Bought Joyce the Dior smokey eyeshadow palette for Christmas :)
P1030575
love that pop-up mirror!

Belated Christmas presents for me are time management tools which are great for my trip!

A to-do list and a manual diary. Ever since I had a blog, I did away with having a physical diary to keep track of my past events and so forth, but it's great to have one when I'm overseas.

The ever delicious Punggol Nasi Lemak. Authentic!

My 2 x 26inch luggages to bring half my life to my new destination.
Moving is way too expensive, buying all my essentials would cost me up to hundreds and it's been a nagging headache for me :(

Anyway, a shout-out to my brother for my new Samsonite (right)! Thanks Broooo!
I wanted to get a cloth one because I realised that the rough handling of airlines cargo doesn't encourage me to get a glossy hard-case like before.

Wore a crochet embroidery tunic from CoffeeandCreme

It'll be a great dress for petite girls who're on the scale of 1.5X, and a tunic for the girls above 1.6m!
I paired it with a bandage skirt as a safer measure if I were to wear it as a dress, and finally wore it with high waisted shorts for a more casual outfit. Leggings can be paired with the tunic as well!
Love crochet bib details on front, and the material of this piece is cotton!

Quote "Stephanie" for a good 10% off your purchase :)

Was given yellow fever and typhoid vaccine shots the day before so I was feeling a little lethargic when I went out for coffee in the noon. Le sigh.

Night was KTV with JS' colleagues and Emmy

These guys can really party man. They weren't feeling too well that day ('cos the high spirited ones were tired from work) so I can imagine them dancing at their 100% would be crazily hilarious!
The only song we couldn't find was LMFAO's LOL.
Partyworld needs to brush up on their English MTV tracks!

Ended supper before JS cabbed back with me.

.P.S. McD's Mcbites are awful - I don't think they're worth the $3.60 we paid for.

Lastly, some mobile pictures before I end my really random entry;

1) a really cute dumbo that I HAVE to get my hands on...... regretted not insisting to get it!
2) FAVORITED snack now that Shermaine got me hooked. Non-spicy pork floss rolls from CookieCourier. They are that good!

3) the less sinful snack of all, Yami yogurt (original with granolas)

favorited!

Will be back on the 18th from HK to do the rest of my entries.
Till then, enjoy your week!
